BMW's April Fool M3 Pickup is actually the real deal
Yesterday we covered the car April Fool japes inflicted on an unsuspecting public by car makers’ PRs. Some were funny, some pointless. But the most elaborate by far was the BMW M3 Pickup.
The 2014 Mazda 6 sedan will be unveiled at the Moscow auto show this week, but you don't have to fly to the Motherland to get details on the new model. We have them right here. As we expected, the new mid-sized sedan will make use of Mazda's SkyActiv technologies, including either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 147 hp and 154 lb-ft of torque, or a 2.5-liter four making 189 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque.
Will the Caterham AeroSeven Concept (pictured) be a casualty of Caterham’s impending sale? Caterham’s foray in to F1 hasn’t been much of a success, with not a single point on the F1 board since they arrived in 2010 as Lotus Racing (although Marcus Ericsson was just one place off a point at Monaco yesterday). Now, after warning back in January that he would walk away from F1 if the Caterham team’s performance on track didn’t improve, it looks like Fernandes is ready to walk away from Caterham altogether.
